I'm back

Wow, I haven’t done this in like forever. Where should I start? Before the Christmas break, the entire senior class had to write a letter of invitation to our panel members. I planned for Susan Davis, Rosita Walden, Debra Ybarra, and Peggy Mahan. Of those four only Susan and Rosita accepted the invitation. I haven’t yet heard from the other two, which worries me. Do I have the wrong email address for the other two? Do they not want to be part of my panel? If so, who will I get to become my other two panel members? This are questions that I don’t have a complete answer to and I’m starting to stress a little. Can anyone give me advise on what I should do?

Something that I am proud to say is that I am all caught up with my e-portfolio. I have my two videos uploaded, my resume, and other information. I would like for people to look at it and tell me what you think about it. I would really appreciate it.

I am currently thinking about where I should hold this group therapy. A possible idea that I had was having the group meet at each other’s house so people can save gas and money. I can alternate the meeting place each weekend so each person has a chance to save some money. I know I want it to be during the weekend. I’ve been thinking about having a trial period to see if my ideas are right and successful. During this trial period I would observe and analyze what went on.

  1. What I can say about your panel members is that not everyone responds. I know that some of our very own panel members didn't write back to us either and it freaked me out too. One thing that you could do is talk to Betsy or Bridget and they may have a few suggestions of people who could help you.

I think it would be nice to hold the groups at people's houses. I think that it will not only save people gas money, but it will also be a comfortable environment where anyone in the group will feel safe to express themselves. It would be good to switch it up every time. I think that it would be really good to have like little calendars which you give to every person so they are clear where each meeting is going to be. I know that you're really good at drawing and I think that small colorful monthly calendars for each person in the group would be good to pass out.

  2. I'd like to know more about how the groups would form, how they would work, how you would know if they were successful or not.

I checked out your e-portfolio and watched your trailer. Nice job. One suggestion about the web page: is it possible to make the heading section smaller? The other stuff on the page seems to get overwhelmed by that big block of space.
