Another Step Closer
Yesterday I finished I finished my literature review so right now I am feeling really great. I got through the stress after hours and hours. I put together 6 resources: that talked about therapy costs, low-costing therapy, psychology, group therapy, American Group Psychotherapy Association, an overview. Because it was the first time that I have every written a literature review, I am very proud of myself. Now that I have finished this review, I have a set idea on how things are going to go. I know what it takes for me to create a "good" and benificial therapy group. After looking up more information, I have decided to inform people about my group. I am also going to create a website that informs people about what will happen in this group and who will qualify. Right now, I am thinking that only girls will be able to qualify and they must be in 5 to 9 grade. I already know that I'm going to start talking to the counselors and principals at the Highlands middle school and elementary to recruit girls from there. Rosita has already offered to help me conduct this group. I'm also going to make a waiver that says whatever is said in the therapy group won't be spread outside of the group.

If you do have a waiver it won't be just you, there has to be a grownup on it and the kid's parents would have to approve and sign as well because you aren't 18 yet. Would this "waiver" be like a contract?

Dang Michelle!! Lol.. You sound like your a therapist already. That sounds like a lot of work to do, but it sounds like your knocking it all out fairly well. It would be cool if you redo your trailer that way when you advertise your website you could include that in there where you would make part of the video that shows how to access your website and qualify like you said it would. I say this because several people like to be shown and told instead of reading instructions for themselves; I am one of those people lol. Also this would seem a bit more professional to your audience, and I see this on youtube all day when I'm looking for new underground Houston rappers to collab with and they all have a website or contact info listed within there video. Also you could make a myspace page or facebook page only dedicated to your project; that would be really cool. Here's a website that could help you. 2knowmyself.com
