Keep Moving Forward

During the summer I thought about the senior project with much thought. I tried to think of something that I was motivated to do but at the same time something that would motivate other people. I have great interest in media. I thought about a way that I could motivate people through either music, photos or videos. I immediately realized that a video would be not only more fun but also a great way to get my point across to other people. The next things I thought about was who I was going to address in my video and what I wanted to motivate them to do. After a while of thinking about this, I decided that I wanted to address students who struggle with conflicts due to school work and family situations. A reason why I chose to address them is because, like most students at the high school level, I am a student who, at one point, has struggled with many conflicts. Having a great deal on your mind can prevent you from doing many things. It isn't fun to stress, so I want to help students get out of stressful situations. Through my video I will focus on how to motivate them to move forward. I want this video to be a sort of guidance for these students. Right now, I'm not too sure on how I will motivate them, but I am thinking about making this a step-by-step/how-to video.

  1. If you want to help students deal with stress then you might want to research good methods for relieving that stress. It is proven that physical activity helps relieve stress, yoga for example and other suchexcercises are quite soothing. But aside from this there is a great number of techniques that you could look into.

But if you are trying to help a person through a stessful situation instead of just coping with the stress it might become a bit more complicated. I guess you could have some sort of vignets or you might even have live video streaming giving advice to people... thought I think it would be easier helpingsomeone cope with stress than to guidethem through specific situatons.

  2. This seems very general. What is your focus? What, specifically, are you going to do?
